Door to Door Property Reviews

To ensure property values remain fair and accurate, the state mandates a review of Morgan County's eight districts on a three-year rotating cycle. Starting March 3, 2026, the Assessor's Office will begin evaluations for Allen & Bath Districts.

Residents are also advised that review of new construction and farms will take place county-wide across all eight districts beginning approximately July 1, 2026.

If you are not home, a door hanger will be left with instructions.

Providing this information prevents improper valuations and incorrect tax classifications that occur when we are forced to estimate values based on external data.

Data collectors Robert Ratcliff and Shawn Fearnow will be identifiable by their official badges and will introduce themselves upon arrival.
